Welcome!

I hope you enjoy my collection of poetry about everything that touches my life, from the past and memories of war to present views of the world, love, pain and much more. I hope you find yourself in my words and enjoy the images presented within the lines of my poems.

Burden of Memories

Burden of Memories

As your hand

Found mine

The sea hushed the sand

Our feet were buried in.

I breathed in the wet air

And your hair danced in it

And I longed to

Wrap myself around that moment.

I wish I could be swept away by the sea

Soft and cold and gritty

Because when you let me go

I didn’t want to stand in the sand anymore

Only leave the shore

Where you stood once

Watching me.

Healing

Healing
