Welcome!

I hope you enjoy my collection of poetry about everything that touches my life, from the past and memories of war to present views of the world, love, pain and much more. I hope you find yourself in my words and enjoy the images presented within the lines of my poems.

I'm Not Scared of Rotten Roots

I'm Not Scared of Rotten Roots

My friend once told me:

"If you water the flowers at dusk

you face a risk of rotten roots."

Nights are cold

and night permeates live strands

and if the night and water are left unabsorbed

death becomes imminent.

Although,

I'm not scared of death;

It is not lonely or dark;

It is psychedelic

and returns our life to us

our stories

reels of good memories

our children

our parents.

I would die

to see those who are gone

once again

in ecstasy

in memory

while I slip away

like the flowers

watered late in the day.
